About Us

Mountain Minis started as a joke.

A roommate who had an interest in 3D printing as a hobby introduced us to the world of possibilities. We jokingly said that we should make a business out of this hobby. A few weeks later, Mountain Minis was born. The goal was to pursue a full-time job for me, Lindsey Denton (founder and owner of Mountain Minis), so that I could pursue my academic goals of attending CU Boulder without the stress of a 9 to 5. The artist and business woman in me yearned for a career that would allow me to be creative and strive for excellence. I oversee the production of all 3D printed items to ensure the highest possible quality. I also create all artwork used in the subsection of Mountain Minis: Sablu's Store. We care greatly about the overall quality of this business and love to hear honest feedback. If you'd like to leave a comment, please go to our contact page and shoot us an email.

What kind of material do we use?

Well, we use a type of plastic filament known as PLA (Polylactic Acid). We make sure to provide at least three walls to all of our prints to ensure durability and quality. It is non-toxic, water-resistant, recyclable, and is considered a biodegradable polymer. With this in mind, please note that our products can not be recycled through your recycling bin or local recycling company. Please contact us if you have any PLA plastic you'd like to dispose of! We can recycle it for you.
