Hello everyone, this is Lindsey, the owner of Mountain Minis.
I wanted to make this post as an update for the future of Mountain Minis as a business. As some of you may have noticed, our show schedule for 2026 has changed and we will be attending fewer shows than originally scheduled. This is intentional but does not signal the end of Mountain Minis. As I have recently had a promotion in my full-time job, I will have less time to attend events for Mountain Minis. So, what does that mean for the future? Well, I'm looking to fully revamp and expand the Mountain Minis website! Here are some things I'll be adding or changing:
- On Demand Catalogue vs. Custom Order Catalogue
The website is currently set up where you place and order and an item is made to your specifications. However, this often results in longer wait times as the color options must be ordered after the order is placed. The turn around time can take a week or longer in many cases. To combat this, we will now have two separate catalogues: ready to ship product in our "On Demand" catalogue as well as our current "Custom Order" catalogue. On Demand products are already made and ready to be shipped, delivered locally, or ready to be picked up in a flash! No wait times. No problems!
- New Custom Order Options - Like Paint Jobs!
Up until now, Custom Order options on the website have been limited to a few options. We will soon have more products available for purchase as well as a few more color options. Also, if you reach out for a more in-depth Custom Order, we now have painting options! Interested in a figure with a logo painted on it? Interested in a unique, artistic paint job that's truly one of a kind? We paint directly onto 3D printing items with quality Acrylic paint that will be finished with a glossy seal, protecting the paint job and product. Pricing may vary.
- Local Delivery and Pickups
We're expanding the local delivery range! If you didn't know, we offer free local delivery for a certain radius in the Denver area as well as delivery for a small fee for farther areas. We now will offer pickups as well! In the Denver area and want to pick up your order while you're out and about? This option will be coming soon!
- New Product Photos and Videos
We'll be adding new products with photos and... new videos! Curious about a fidget or figure but not sure you can tell how it works and moves? Well, now you'll be able to tell without seeing the item in person!
